Another opportunity for 10th, 11th and 12th grade students, but NOT one that is required, is Junior IU 9 Band. Jr. IU 9 Band is an “All-Star” band made up of selected students from the schools in the area. Any band student in the middle school is eligible to apply. Selections are held during November and we find out the students who are selected at that time. IU 9 Band will be held this year at Northern Potter HS. Students who participate will need to have a ride to the leave our HS the morning of April 8 and will travel to the site by school transportation. The parents are responsible for picking up the student following the concert in the Northern Potter High Auditorium on the evening of April 8. Admission for this concert is usually $2 for students and $3.
Students who have been selected for this year need to fill out the paperwork attached below. they are in both .pdf and word if you want tto try to type info in instead of hand write it. The two forms below are the IU 9 Band's Medical information and application. The School Field Trip form will follow later as the date approaches.
